Fund Raising Runs
Oscar's Mum and Dad have raised money for Sands by running in several events:
The 2007 10K Manchester Great run, the 2007 10k Cardiff Great Run and the 2008 10k Manchester Great Run.
Women's Hydroactive 5K in Liverpool
Oscar's Mum and Aunty Sarah ran in the Women's Hydroactive 5K in Liverpool  on the 3rd of September 2006 to raise money for Sands, the Stillbirth And Neonatal Death Society.

Mel and Sarah were both nervous as on an overcast day we finally found Sefton Park crowded with runners and blue and white bunting.

Mel and Sarah wore their home-made "Oscar Heart" T shirts whilst Oscar's Nana wore her smartest outfit, as she passed the stage the voice of local radio echoed across the PA "Are you running madam?" Oscars Nana did not reply!!

Mel and Sarah both finished with great times and they raised a total of six hundred and sixty six Pounds for SANDS.

Thank you to Mrs Janice Morrison- official fundraiser for SANDS-who is the manager of the creche. A special thank you to Oscar's Auntie Sarah whose brilliant idea it was.

The total raised for SANDS was...

Oscar's Nanna and Papa named a star after Oscar.

Oscar's star is in the southern constellation of Phoenix.  The constellation is named after the mythical bird that is reborn from the flames.

Star "Oscar" has the co-ordinates
